Kurlik, Purrlik and the Artist’s Cave
A sequel about the adventures of the offspring of two warring forest families. The predatory Purrliks go to hunt the Kurliks, but a little Purrlik named Shustrik manages to warn his feathered friend and namesake. Together they go far away from the dangerous places and soon meet Cherry the Zebraphant, with whom they became friends during their previous journey. But here’s the problem: Cherry has grown and is
now terribly self-conscious about her size. Fortunately, the Kurlik manages to attract Cherry with his singing, and the deaf owl Seiwa, who turned an ordinary cave into an art studio, shows her how important it is to realize one’s talent, regardless of the difficulties and opinions of others.
• A sequel to the fairy tale story “Hold on, Kurlik!”
• The book is full of really funny and witty humor.
• Atmospheric and amusing illustrations by the talented artist Daria Beklemesheva.
