Maya stands at the edge of the forest. Trees are intertwined, forming a dark tunnel, which must be entered for some reason. Paralysed with fear, Maya screams and wakes up. It’s just a dream. But why does it haunt her for years, each time making her freeze in horror?
Maya would never have known the answer if not for her six-year-old brother. The forest is the boundary between two realities, and little Robby, accidentally passing through it in a dream, is now unable to find his way back. The only guide is Maya herself. She has just three days to find the boy. If she doesn’t succeed, she won’t be able to come back. And the worst thing is that strangers like her are considered monsters outside the forest and executed. Maya not only has to save her brother but also remember what happened to her many years ago.
The reader will have to put the pieces of the puzzle together with Maya, deciding who is a friend and who is a foe.
