Two young men, living in the same period with the ancient Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi and being the latter’s students, were quite different but harmoniously complementary in their personalities. They joined efforts to cure the patients and save their lives with superb medical skills, and at the same time managed to crack the problems in the maze-like mystery they encountered. After all this adventure, they finally acquired the very secret of truth, goodness and beauty in life.

Each book corresponds to one piece of articles in the Book of Zhuangzi and its philosophical topic, demonstrating what it really means in the fascinating story.
