I love the title of this book: Tree Beings. I am always being asked to write forewords for people’s books, and often must say ‘no’. But I cannot resist the opportunity to endorse the book of a person who feels about trees as I do! 

Ever since I was a child I have loved trees. The trees in our garden all had names and personalities. I did not think of them as inanimate objects, but as living beings. In this book, Raymond Huber shares with us the inspiring stories of some very special people who have not only raised awareness about the importance of trees and forests, but fought to save them.

Every time we destroy a forest we are stealing a little bit of our future.
