Raneen cannot express herself with speech. She expresses herself with drawings and colors. This is not quite easy for her friends, the parrot, the cat, the nightingale and others. They spare no effort to interpret her drawings and give them a sense. The parrot finally manages to give Raneen’s drawings a meaning.

Raneen wishes to go to school like any other child of her age.
