Grandma is taking a nap on his parents’ bed. His father is not in the house now. His sister is chatting on the computer. His mother is wearing a long apron and is grabbing her bag on her way out.
His dog is sleeping –since the dog turned eleven, that’s all he does. The boy takes advantage of the peace and quiet in the house and grabs his grandma’s big glasses from the night table next to his parents’ bed. His grandma is sound asleep, curled up.
