A little grey spider, who once lived happily, starts comparing itself to its colorful spider friends and falls into low self-esteem, eventually hating itself. In the end, the spider leaves home in search of the reason it was born grey.
On its wandering journey, it meets a special and unusual deer with very small antlers. Through a conversation with the deer, who has a positive view of itself, the grey spider finally begins to see itself in a new light. And the spider says to itself, "I like myself."
