A-Kuan’s home is in the place near to the salt ponds of Chi-Gu.  There are much salt ponds originally but is getting desolate gradually.  Most of the residents in the General Village are survived by fishing.  The catched fishes are delivered to the fish market in General Village for selling.

A-Kuan goes with his father to the fish market to buy the fresh fishes for their own marine products shop.  The market is bustling.  It is full of people and peddling voices.  A-Kuan looks at his father for selecting fishes and prices competition.  A-Kuan is exciting when his father is successful to get the fishes which he wants to buy originally.

The central content of this book is based on the fishing harbor of the General Village in Tainan Hsien.  It describes the ecology in the bed of sea in the offshore of Taiwan and deal process in the fishing market.  The painter’s minute description and realistic illustration are the major unique features of this book.  The painter hopes that readers can further see via this book how beautiful is the world in the bed of sea and the vivid, active looks of fishes swimming inside.
