Schoolboy Saveliy has always dreamed of having a dog. At the very end of the school year, on the eve of his birthday, he meets in the park a friendly dog that clearly doesn't have an owner. However, the dog has been a stray for a long time and has managed to pick up fleas, and possibly other parasites.
