A Picture Book of Friendship that Shines Like a Colorful Rainbow
In Tap Tap Tap, Rain Cloud, there is someone who makes the rain cloud shine — a child named Seowoo, who walks up to the cloud without hesitation. Seowoo loves rain, so it didn’t take long for her to recognize the rain cloud that would bring the rain she enjoys. Seowoo plays hand-in-hand with the rain cloud, nurturing sprouts and making flowers bloom, and she draws pictures on the ground while watching the rain cloud. Seeing this, the rain cloud feels a deep sense of happiness.
When the two decide to become inseparable friends, Seowoo places her headband on the rain cloud and starts asking questions, wanting to learn more about it. They share refreshing juice and sweet candy because, after all, the rain cloud is Seowoo's friend. The rain cloud also expresses its feelings through its raindrops. What was once blue rain begins to turn into a rainbow of colors. Through their splashing water games and the sounds they make together — "Boom boom bang" and "Ha ha ha!" — we can sense how much fun they are having together.
Just as every meeting has a parting, the rain cloud is not worried. Whenever Seowoo wants to see her friend, she can just tap on the window, tap tap tap. Even if they can't always be together, their hearts remain connected, so they never feel lonely. Like the rainbow that appears after the rain, Tap Tap Tap, Rain Cloud is a beautiful story of a shining friendship between Seowoo and the rain cloud.
