“Sanmao Fighting Epidemic” is a new cartoon story about “Sanmao” created by Sun Shaobo who is a cartoonist in Shanghai and featuring the character “Sanmao” originally created by Mr. Zhang Leping who is known as the “Father of Sanmao”. The story takes place against the background of COVID 19 epidemic sweeping the whole country at the beginning of 2020. During the outbreak of the epidemic, a primary school student named “Sanmao” and his sister, and pet cat and dog were isolated at home. Like every ordinary Chinese, Sanmao faced the difficulties and pleasures in life such as cooking, attending classes on TV, reading, walking dog, sports and entertainment.
