Goraebaetsok's ‘Moving Thoughts’ series starts with the idea that everything in the world is connected and that our trains of thought that starts with little questions and curiosity can take us to the infinite world of the unknown. All thoughts are connected, and a child’s world expands infinitely along with their thoughts. An adventure to find all the knowledge of the world contained in the 'mirror'
The first topic of the ‘Moving Thoughts’ series is ‘Mirror’. The main character, Jinyi, often hears stories about the world behind the mirror from his grandfather, who used to be a scientist but is now an old man suffering from dementia. One day, his grandfather asks him to find his lost mirror. While searching for it, Jinyi comes across a number of mirrors found in literature, history, and cultures, and helearns about the properties and production process of making a mirror, as well as reflection by the mirror, what is a mirror image, mirror letters, mirror perspective
and distortion. He also learns the meaning and philosophy hidden in a mirror during his adventure.
