BAOBAB Publishers is a small independent publishing house specialising in quality children's books. Since its foundation it has been doing its best to revive the picture book culture in the Czech Republic. 
It cooperates with dozens of similarly oriented authors, storytellers and illustrators. It seeks out young talents and introduces Czech readers to the most interesting illustrators of the 20th and 21st centuries.
In addition to its publishing and promotional activities, BAOBAB initiates and organises a number of book culture events, such as the TABOOK Book Festival.
