Andrew Nurnberg Associates was founded in London in 1977. We represent authors from around the world in the fields of literary and commercial fiction and general non-fiction, as well as children’s authors.  Several have received major prizes, ranging from the International Prize for Arabic Fiction to the French Goncourt.

The agency moved to its new headquarters at
43 Great Russell Street, London, in 2024.

We are a member of the Association of Authors’ Agents (AAA),
which means we abide by its Code of Practice.

We proudly represent leading UK and US agent and publisher clients for the sale of translation rights via our London and international offices.

ANA International’s offices form a unique, global network providing local expertise and in-depth knowledge for authors and clients across key, literary translation markets. Founded by Andrew Nurnberg in 1977. In 1993, we opened our first international office, in Moscow.

Launched in March 2024, ANA Milan is the agency’s twelfth office
outside London joining ANA Kyiv, ANA Bangkok, ANA Hanoi, ANA Prague,
ANA Sofia, ANA Budapest, ANA Moscow, AnatoliaLit (Istanbul), ANA Warsaw,
ANA Beijing and ANA Taipei.
