Four students, Sarah-Jo, Peter, Cat and Cédric, travel to Thailand to participate in an international robotics competition. It is a trip they won’t forget any time soon...
They arrive at Athena, a company that designs and manufactures highly sophisticated robots, but what they don’t know is that the scientists intend to use them as guinea pigs for a dangerous project they are secretly developing: grafting human neurons to a robot, the ultimate fusion of man and ma- chine.
The teenagers keep their guard up, even though they are unaware of the dangerous plot hatching around them. They learn more about artificial intelligence, rub shoulders with a few humanoids and, with the help of some Athena employees, manage to escape the trap set for them.
A novel that questions the limits and use of artificial intelligence from a philosophical perspective and demonstrates how omnipresent robots have become.
