A bear that paints the portraits of bears said, “Listen, I have a story about bears who were my old friends.” 
The bear slowly looked back on past memories and introduced its friends. 
It matter-of-factly talked about where the friends live, what food they liked, what they were good at, and what they disliked. But these friends could not be seen any more from some time ago. 
All contact between them stopped. The bear was curious.
