Bright Readers is a set of graded readers designed by Pearson Longman for Asian children aged 6-12 to effectively improve their comprehensive English ability. The whole series has 60 stories in 6 levels, respectively catering to primary school students in grades 1-6. The full range of Bright Readers covers about 1,200 English vocabulary and 200 typical sentence patterns. The stories develop from the two dimensions of advanced reading and mental growth with rich contextual language, pictures for better understanding and fascinating plots. The combination of these elements is in line with children's real-life experience and psychological mechanism.
