The Italian company REGGIO CHILDREN S.R.L. - International Center for the Defense and Promotion of the Rights and Potentials of all Children - owned by the Municipality of Reggio Emilia (Emilia Romagna Region) - is world-renowned in 150 countries for educational services for children and its task is the promotion and protection of the world-famous “Reggio Emilia Approach”.
This pedagogical approach and the Reggio Emilia preschools, which began in the 1950s, are now considered among the best in the world; since then, scientific cooperation has been further developed with almost every country in the world, including China.
Over the years REGGIO CHILDREN has developed numerous collaborations in China, including  the Italian Embassy School in Beijing, and has its numerous publications translated into Chinese with Nanjing Normal University Press, East China Normal University Press, and other publishing houses. Reggio Children has also organized many professional development events in China and Italy for hundreds of Chinese educators aimed at disseminating the "Reggio Emilia Approach", including, exhibitions, conferences, consulting projects.
