Founded in 1957, East China Normal University Press (ECNUP) has formed its distinguished feature--Great Education thanks to the humanistic spirit of The Great China University - the predecessor of East China Normal University (ECNU) and the rich academic resources of ECNU. Our list of publications mainly includes textbooks, scholarly works and popular readings.
Aiming to be a front-runner of Chinese education publishing and build a nationally top-grade and internationally well-known university press, we develop comprehensively in printed books, electronic audiovisual publishing and digital publishing. Our publishing program carries on many areas including elementary education, higher education, vocational education, teaching auxiliary, preschool and adolescent education, pedagogy, psychology, theme publication, humanities&social science, digital education and electronic audiovisual products.
Supported by the National Press and Publication Administration, we established a national key Laboratory for Publication Integrated Development in Shanghai, and we are recognized by the Publicity Department of Shanghai Municipal Committee of CPC (Press and Publication Bureau) as the “Academic and Professional Publishing Center · Education Science Publishing Center”. We are also awarded as Advanced Unit of China by the Chinese Government Award for Publishing, National Top 100 Publishers and Top 10 Cultural Enterprises in Shanghai.
