Il Castoro is an independent Italian house and publishes multi-awarded children's books for all ages, including fiction, picture books, graphic novels and YA novels. We publish international bestsellers like Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Dork Diaries. Among our authors: Jeff Kinney, Rachel Renée Russell, Chris Riddell, Luigi Ballerini, Silvia Vecchini & Sualzo. Il Castoro also owns a chain of bookstores for children’s books in Milan and Brescia. In 2018, Il Castoro acquired a share in Edizioni Sonda, publisher in the field of Vegan Culture and in Tunué, leading publisher for graphic novels. In 2019, Il Castoro has been shortlisted for the prestigious BOP – Bologna Prize Best Children’s Publishers of the Year
